This is goiod college food, not fancy on the inside but good food with a couple of beers. A lot of their business is carry out or delivery. Not fancy inside but a lot of nostalgia in character.

I've never had food so severely disappointing. The place smacks of a kitchen thats cutting corners. Garlic butter and garlic salt is the only thing more overpowering than the bootleather "meat" of the world famous garlic cheeseburger. I was charmed walking in the door to see that the place was indeed world famous. If the food only matched the decor, not flashy but clearly appreciated, I'd be writing a very different review right now.

Marvin's is good late-night fare. Translation? The more beer you've had, the better the food at Marvin's is. If you visit, avoid the burrito options and stick to burgers and fries. Marvin's Garlic Cheese Burger (GCB) is what its all about. Have the garlic fries, but skip the cheese sauce - It's nothing special. It's VERY INEXPENSIVE. The atmosphere is very far from fine dining, but very authentic. The service is Marginal -- but they deliver.

2 people in the restaurant and 3 workers. It took 45 minutes to get our food!!! You can hear the guys yelling" Man, it's so (bleeping) busy!" Whatever. Winter: Leave your coat on. They don't turn on the heat and it's so cold that even the guy working at the grill keeps his on. Food is blah = no flavor. The burger patties are frozen, store bought, and put in the grill. The wings tastes like Tyson frozen, bagged wings. Not worth paying $5 for a stale bun, dry, flavorless burger. Delivery is a 50 cent charge, $4.00 min. Or call ahead for pick up. I won't go here anymore. Period.

Unusually addicting. You'll go. Get the garlic burger and garlic cheese fries. Head home with your buds and you'll think to yourself, "pretty good, but nothing special." Then weeks later the craving will hit you like a fist and you'll have to go back for another :-D

Open very VERY late and serving greasy spoon food (at times we all crave it, right?) for very low prices ;-) Try the garlic burger and fries if your in the mood. It's very plain inside but clean and the staff is friendly and energetic.

Marvin's is a staple in the local college diet in Stevens Point. They are world famous for their garlic cheesburgers, mmmm so good! If you love garlic it's a must! Other good items include the wet burrito, nachos and Franks fries. This isn't gourmet food by any means. Greasy 'college budget' type joint. Great hole in the wall place with very, very loyal following.... GET SOME!!!

Marvin's is pretty good, although sometimes they go a little overboard with the garlic (and I like garlic). They deliver nice and late, and the price is reasonable.

I've found Yelp users to be mostly reliable. This place is an enigma. It has fairly good ratings, and I have no idea why. The "world famous garlic cheeseburger" is shockingly underwhelming. I've had better meat at a public pool concession stand. The cheese is a slapped on standard yellow American cheese. As far as I can tell, the meat isn't even seasoned. The aforementioned garlic is merely a thick garlic/ garlic salt mixture lathered on the outside of the bun. There was nothing...NOTHING that is world famous about this burger. Save your $6. The fries were warm and fine, but nothing spectacular. I love food! I've eaten fries and burgers in 48 of the 50 states, and this is very near the bottom of my list.
